Sandra L. Rodriguez, age 57 of Lowell, Indiana formerly of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. She had been fighting a long battle with many health issues, but not one that took from her faith in the Lord. Sandra was preceded in passing by her father, Rudolpho "Rudy" Rodriguez and loving mother, Herminia Rodriguez (nee Corpus), also brothers: Robert and Arthur Rodriguez. Loved ones who will dearly miss her until they meet again; sister: Sheila (Jose) Juarez; nephews: Christopher (Angela) Rodriguez, Brian (Tracy) Rodriguez, Christopher Juarez and niece, Graciela Juarez and also many cousins and godchildren who she loved dearly.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Monica & Luke Church, 645 Rhode Island Street, Gary, Indiana, with Father Pat Gaza officiating. At Rest, Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, Indiana. A Memorial luncheon will be held back at the Church following the burial services. Friends may visit with the family at Ss. Monica & Luke Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Sandra was born July 12, 1962 at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Indiana. She was a member of the Ss. Monica & Luke Church and was a woman of great faith. Sandra worked many jobs, a few to mention were: Neiman Marcus, Trump Casino, and a variety of nursing home facilities as a Nursing Technician. One of the many things we will remember about Sandra was her outstanding cooking skills and her love of cooking. Special Thanks go out to her god sister, Yolanda (James) Hicks-Trapp and her best friends: Rosemary (John) Martinez, Melloni (& sisters) Cherry, Cyndi (Jan) Gamez, Pam Austin and Charles Lee.
