Juan Toledo Rivera

Juan D. Toledo Rivera, age 83, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Dyer Nursing and Rehab. Survived by 2 nephews: Angel Martinez and Julio de Jesus; dear friends: Maria Maldonado and Lucy Serrano and many other loving friends and family. Preceded in passing by his parents, Juan, Sr. and Rafaela Rivera, sister, Encarnacion de Jesus and brother, Amelio Martinez and longtime dear friend, Adriana Rodriguez.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana, Pastor Don Jabaay, officiating. At Rest, St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Hammond Christian Reformed Church, 1910 - 167th  Street, Hammond, Indiana, 46324. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service.

Juan was a longtime resident of East Chicago and Hammond, Indiana. He was a retired employee of the Bohn Aluminum Company in Butler, Indiana. He was a member of the Hammond Christian Reformed Church for many years. He was always concerned about his community and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
