Francisco Maravilla Obituary

Francisco C. "Frank" Maravilla, age 59, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Friday evening, January 17, 2020 at St Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, IN. Preceded in passing by his parents, Francisco and Isabel "Terry" Maravilla. Frank is survived by his three sisters; Lola Maravilla, Melissa Vasquez and Lupe Maravilla. Also, one nephew, Karlos Vasquez and two nieces: Olivia and Chloe Gonzalez; beloved God sister, Blanca Delgado; and many family members throughout St Paul, Minnesota.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Father Carlos Sosa, A.I.C., officiating. Friends may visit with the family at St Patrick Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Cremains will be held at the convenience of the family at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.

Frank helped his Dad at the family business "Main Lock" which was located on Main Street in Indiana Harbor. He was a lifelong resident of East Chicago and former member of the former Assumption Church and member of St Patrick Church. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
