Fabiola "Faby" Guerrero, age 49, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Monday morning, July 26, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Mario A. Guerrero; loving sons, Christian A. and Julian A. Guerrero; cherished grand daughter, Viviana N. Guerrero; loving parents, Antonio and Margarita Cardenas and parents-in-law, Luis and Imelda Guerrero; loving and caring sisters and brothers, Lilia Higareda, Jose L. Cardenas, Lorena (Jaime) Zamora, Veronica (Jesus) Ayala, Marco (Ilda) Cardenas, Lisa (Wilson) Garcia, Eduardo (Christal) Cardenas and Erica (Azriel) Strong; also many caring brothers and sisters-in-law, Javier (Veronica) Guerrero, Gabriela (Angel) Bousono, Veronica Guerrero and Fabian Guerrero; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Preceded in passing by her brother-in-law, Luis Higareda and sister-in-law, Gloria Guerrero.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, Indiana. Friends may visit with the family at OLG Church on Friday morning from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial Services will follow at the St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. Friends may also visit with the family on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M at the Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana. oleskapastrickfh.com In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.

"Faby" was a Teacher and Administrator for the Geminus Corporation with 20 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and a graduate of East Chicago Central High School, Class of 1991. She was a proud graduate of Purdue University Calumet Campus earning her degree in Education. She enjoyed dancing, attending all of her son's sporting events and spending time with her grand daughter and family. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and tia. Her love and kindness will always live on in the memories of her loving family and many dear friends.
