Emilio M. Martinez

Emilio M. Martinez, age 88, of Whiting, Indiana passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Harcourt Terrace Nursing &  Rehabilitation Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. Emiliano is survived by his brother, Juan Rivera; Nephews: Julio, Sr., Jesse & Joe de Jesus & Angel Monges de Jesus; Great Nephews; Julio, Jr. & Carlos de Jesus and also many other family & friends. Preceded in passing by his parents; Juan, Sr. & Rafaela Rivera and Sister, Encarnacion de Jesus.

Funeral Services will be held at Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Raymond Helfen, officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of Service. Burial services will follow at the Chapel at St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.

Emilio lived in East Chicago, Hammond & Whiting, Indiana for many years. He was currently living at the Harcourt Terrace in Indianapolis, Indiana since March of this year. He was a retired employee of Inland Steel Company with over 30 years of Service. And a member of the United Steelworkers of America Union Local 1010. Mr. Martinez will be remembered for his kindness and hard work and will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
