Carmen Delia Rivera

Carmen Delia Rivera, age 58 of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Survived by five loving children: Crystal (Ricardo) Bolanos-Bautista, Daniel (Idalia) Bautista, April Bautista, David Bautista & Cynthia Bautista; twelve grandchildren; three sisters: Naida Rivera, Emelina Rivera & Maria V. (Gustavo) Gandia-Rivera; three brothers: Wilfredo (Regina) Rivera, Hector Rivera & Manuel Angel (Wynonia) Rivera; many nieces, nephews, loving family & friends. Preceded in passing by her infant son, Angel Bautista and her loving parents Nestor & Dislada (nee Candelaria) Rivera.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018  at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Gloria Entoe, officiating. Friends may visit with the family between 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana 46312. Private cremation services were held prior to the visitation. In memory of Carmen, Memorial donations may be made to the family.

Carmen was born in East Chicago, Indiana and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Area. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Her love and kindness will live on in the memories of all her family and friends. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oleskapastrickfh.com
