Obituary

Bertha Lozano, age 81 of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side. She is survived by her son, Hector S. Lozano, Jr. and daughter, Caroline Parker and granddaughter, Brittany Parker, also niece Ursula Bein and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in passing by her parents, Placido and Anna Hernandez, many brothers and sisters and loving niece, Amanda Bein.

Family and friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning, January 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Juan Rodriguez, officiating, all at Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana. At Rest, St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.

Bertha was a longtime resident of East Chicago and longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, East Chicago, Indiana. She was a former longtime employee of John's Eat Shop and the Doctor's Office of Dr. Felix Milan. She was a hard worker and enjoyed visiting with all of the customers of both places of work. She will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
