Beatriz Mendoza

Beatriz Mendoza, age 94, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, January 1, 2021. Survived by four loving children: Ernesto (Chong) Mendoza, Hortencia (Eugenio, Sr.) Calderon, Maria Elena Ojeda and Angela (Sanjay) Anand; Proud Grandmother of: Shaun (Rhonda), Eugenio, Jr. (Maria), Orlando (Lori), Celina,Joseph, Alicia, Marcos and Elena (Oscar); Great Grandmother of: Reynaldo, Brittney, Apolos, Ezra, Nathan, Sicilia, Danyelle and  Elijah; Great Great Grandmother of: Elizabeth and Giovanni. Dear Sister, Josefina Palacios and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 62 years, Reynaldo Mendoza, Sr., sons: Jose Reynaldo, Eduardo and Reynaldo, Jr. and loving daughter, Rosa Maria.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana. Private cremation service will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in honor of our mother, Beatriz. Beatriz was a longtime resident of East Chicago, Indiana and a devoted, long time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, East Chicago, Indiana. Mrs. Mendoza was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Beatriz' memory will be deeply cherished in the hearts of her loving family and friends.
