Baudilio " Bibo " Castro

Baudilio " Bibo " Castro, age 46, of East Chicago, Indiana passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Munster Community Hospital, surrounded by his family and very close friends. He is preceded in passing by his father, Jose L. Castro, Sr. and his brother, "Butch" Jose L. Castro, Jr. He is survived by his two sons, Baudilio "Lil Bibo" Castro and Ruben Castro; His mother, Maria Antonia Castro; his siblings: Sally (Moses) Marrero, Ossie Castro, Sandra Castro, Cenaida Castro, Marisol (Gilbert) Ortiz and Antonio "Tony" Castro; former wife, Carmen Sandifer and step-son, Roy, whom he loved very much; also, Special Aunt Margarita "Margie" Comacho and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews,  loving relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home,  3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana, 46312. Funeral Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Concepcion, D.F.C., officiating. Private cremation services will follow at the convenience of the family. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.

Bibo was born and raised in East Chicago, Indiana. He lived for a short while in Austin, Texas, until he returned to his roots in East Chicago, Hammond and Marktown for the last 14 years of his life. He worked hard at the (TEC) National Excelslor Company, Lansing, Illinois.  Bibo always had a good sense of humor and  always loved making people laugh. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and was always quick to help anyone in need. He will be missed dearly by all of his loving family and friends, but will  be in our hearts forever.
