Rada (Obradovic) Kovacevic

Rada Kovacevic (nee Obradovic), age 80, of Whiting, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at St Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, IN. Loving mother of: Ray (Angeline) Kovacevic and Milos (fiancé, Richelle Ciluffo) Kovacevic; proud grandmother of Guennivere; loving sister of: Gila, Dual, Mara, Desa, Radmila, Stanisa and Radisa;  sister-in-law in Serbia and many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. Preceded in passing by her husband, George Kovacevic in 2015.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St George Serbian Orthodox Church, 4021 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana with Father Aleksandar Savic, officiating. At Rest, Holy Cross Orthodox Cemetery, Merrillville, Indiana. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 9;30 AM until time of Service at 10:30.

Mrs. Kovacevic was a longtime resident of Whiting, Indiana. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and a dear friend to many.
