Francisco L. (" Pancho ") Alfaro

Francisco L. "Pancho" Alfaro, age 86, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence. Beloved brother of Angela Vargas, Rose Varela, Margarite Alfaro and Laurie C.; fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; many loving relatives and friends. Preceded in passing by his parents, Everist and Carmen Alfaro and his brother, Ezeqiel Alfaro.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Croatian Church, 4754 Carey Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry J. Steffens, officiating. Burial Services will follow at St John-St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. Friends may visit with the family at the Church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.

Mr. Alfaro was a longtime resident of East Chicago, Indiana and was the former owner of the family business, House Of Slip Covers, Indiana Harbor. When Uncle Frank wasn't working at the family business, he enjoyed the art of picture painting. He was a loving brother and uncle, who will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
