Eva Campero Obituary

Eva D. Campero, age 64, surrounded by all of her loving family, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence, Munster, Indiana. She is survived by two children: Maritza (Manuel, III) Garcia and Nelson Hernandez, Jr.; children's father and dearest friend, Nelson Hernandez; eight grandchildren: Manuel IV, Christopher, Samantha & Mia, Nelson, III, Joceline, Maria & Brianna; many great grandchildren; longtime friend, George Alfaro; two sisters: Sandy Campero and Elizabeth "Jackie" Campero; nephews: Luis, Baby Angel, Michael and Carlos Campero; nieces: Mari (Jose) Garcia & Angela Campero, and many other family and friends. Preceded in passing by her loving sister, Virginia Campero, loving brother, Joseph K. Campero and beloved parents Joseph & Connie Campero.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 8, 2018 between 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Oleska-Pastrick Funeral Home, 3934 Elm Street, East Chicago, Indiana. At her request, private cremation services were held prior to the visitation. Prayer services will be held throughout the evening. In memory of Eva, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
