Bette Bernice (Bartock) Balitewicz

Bette Bernice Balitewicz (nee Bartock) of Westville, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 78 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was preceded in passing by her husband Robert S. "Indiana Bob" Balitewicz. She is survived by her loving children: Catherine (Dennis) Floyd, Nancy Balitewicz and Stanley Balitewicz, four grandchildren: Adam (Alicia) Floyd, Anna (Alex) Tuesburg, Jim and Frank Balitewicz, one great grandchild, Aiden Floyd and many other relatives and friends.

Bette was born in East Chicago, Indiana and graduated from E. C. Roosevelt High School. She was a longtime employee and retired from the School City of East Chicago. Betty was always proud of her family, but was especially proud of her grandchildren. Bette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with all of her family and many friends. Her love and kindness will always live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.

Private cremation services were held. And at Bette's request, there will be no further services.
